The Open Spaces Yoga Center community of students & teachers welcomes you into the greater cooperative White Mountain Yoga Community where we all strive together toward a more evolved lifestyle that benefits ourselves, our families and our community at large.

Yoga is established as a wholistic approach to health, both physical and mental. For Beginning students we have a Gentle Class, and more advanced classes for those who want to delve deeper into yoga. Scroll down to see our offerings.

Unique in Northern Arizona, we offer Yoga Therapeutics in private sessions, a special yoga therapeutic class and therapeutic themed workshops.

What we offer
Levels of Instruction
GENTLE YOGA - for beginners
and those with balance, breath and movement issues (Postponed till summer)
​
BASICS & BEYOND - foundational poses that build strength, stability, flexibility, breath coordination and mental awareness
​
INTERMEDIATE - instruction including practice of inversions; backends, arm balances, pranayama and meditative penetration in the poses.
MIXED LEVELS - instruction that is appropriate for beginners to intermediate.

Types of Instruction
IYENGAR YOGA - emphasizes correct alignment, stability, strength and flexibility; breath awareness and paying close attention are improved.

STRETCH & STRENGTHENING CLASS - movement & strengthening actions begin this practice to build stability, strength & flexibility. Then stretching opens the body. with Claire-Dee Lim, Instructor.

CHAIR YOGA - make daily living earsier; seated in chairs you will build core and muscle strength, improve joint function and help circulation & breathing. with Rosie Gonzalez.
​​
VINYASA FLOW YOGA - vinyasa flow yoga builds strength, endurance, flexibility and cardio health; improves breath coordination with movement.

YIN YOGA - release the fascia and built up tension thru this gentle practice with long holdings of poses
